We are situated 2.5 miles off the main A595 at Holmrook, just 10 minutes drive from Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass & Dalegarth station at Boot and or course Eskdale.
For visitors from Ambleside the drive over Hardknott Pass is a wonderful experience with breathtaking views taking about 1 hours drive.
Alternative routes are available via A66 from Keswick and A590 leading to the A595 from Windermere.
The Gift Shop and TeaRooms are easy to find from the A595. Turn off at Holmrook and take the direct route along the country lanes to Santon Bridge. Alternatively, take the scenic route through Gosforth as find us on the road towards Eskdale.
