James Herriot became famous throughout the world for his books that captured the essence of life in England's Yorkshire Dales in the 1930s and 40s. The characters were portrayed with all their foibles and contradictions, their tight-fistedness and their generosity but, above all, their courage and gritty humour. Each of our fabulous, lifelike figurines tells their own story and brings to life many of these characters from the tales of Britain's favourite vet.
